回复 @CaptainXi : Other Metro numbers don't work either, I've tried. The SIM interposer doesn't work either; after much effort, I managed to wrap the card and insert it, but there was no response. It gets thicker after applying the SIM interposer, making it hard to insert and even harder to pull out . Metro别的号也不行，试过了。卡贴也不work，好不容易包着卡塞进去 没有反应，贴卡贴以后变厚，塞进去还不容易拔出来

: You activate the phone first, and at that point, it's activated but there’s a carrier lock, so you can only use that carrier’s SIM card. Then, after one year, your phone will automatically unlock and become an unlocked phone, and you can use any carrier’s SIM card. After it's unlocked, you could use the phone as a backup or give it to an elder family member. 是先激活手机，这个时候手机激活了，但是有网络锁，只能用这个运营商的手机卡，然后手机要等1年后才自动解锁，变成无锁的手机了，这个时候你的手机可以随便使用任何运营商的卡。解锁后的手机当备用机或给家里长辈使用也是可以的。
