Editor's Pick: When you're flying with kids or waiting for food at a restaurant, pulling this little box of blocks out of your bag can keep them quietly entertained for a while. It comes in a tin about the size of a pencil case, and you can flip the lid over to use as a base so the little cars and houses they build stand right on top. The 34 pieces are a size smaller than the standard version, but they still stick to larger magnetic tiles at home for building together. The ABS material has rounded edges that won't dig into little hands. When playtime's over, just close the lid and put it away, so pieces don't end up scattered everywhere.
