Editor's Pick: When recording a podcast or joining a video conference, placing your microphone directly on the desk can pick up the vibration from typing on your keyboard. This tripod sets up right on your desk, and the height adjusts from 4.7 to 8.7 inches (12 to 22 cm) with just a twist. The three legs at the base hold your microphone steady. The 5/8-inch universal thread fits most microphones, and when you're not using it, just take it apart and tuck it in a drawer.
