: No idea why, but I always feel like discontinuing the M series was quite a blow to Canon. You can see Canon is putting real effort into improving the G7, but they're also cautious not to move too fast and risk something fundamental. If the fans buy into it, maybe they'll dare to keep innovating in the future. That said, with how complicated rival brands' lineups are, just truly digging into the small-size segment and maximizing production capacity is already an achievement. At most, maybe add a version without a crop in the future—what more could you ask for? 不知道为啥总感觉m停产对佳能刺激不小，看得出来佳能对g7改进的诚意，又怕步子太大扯到命根。如果小cc们买账，也许精神后续能继续放开些手脚，不过就友商们的产线复杂程度，能把小尺寸产能工具细分市场吃透就算不错了，最多以后再加个无裁切，夫复何求。

: It's pretty good, but 4K 60fps has a crop. In terms of cost-effectiveness just for video, the ZV-E10 II can compete and is more flexible. The X-M5 is also good, but it's always out of stock. Personally, I hope Canon can spur Sony to properly update its RX series; they shouldn't keep relying on old models, not changing the design and not even offering 4K 60fps anymore. 挺不错的，不过4K 60fps有裁切，单轮拍视频用的性价比，ZV-E10 II可以一战，而且更灵活；X-M5也不错就是总断货；就我个人而言希望佳能可以刺激索尼好好更新黑卡，别一直吃老本，不改设计也不给4K 60fps了
