Since its founding in 1991 by Perry Farrell, lead vocalist of Jane's Addiction, Lollapalooza has evolved into a global celebration encompassing diverse musical styles including rock, hip-hop, and electronic dance music, with satellite events in multiple countries worldwide. The 2025 lineup features over 170 artists including Olivia Rodrigo, Tyler, the Creator, TWICE, and A$AP Rocky. The 2025 Iowa Hinterland Music Festival will celebrate its tenth anniversary from August 1 to 3, 2025, blending diverse musical lineups with Iowa's beautiful rural scenery. This year's star-studded lineup features headliners Tyler, the Creator, Kacey Musgraves, and Lana Del Rey, along with many beloved independent and pop artists including Clairo, The Marías, Bleachers, and Remi Wolf. September brings music festivals to their peak, with one distinctive show after another. Riot Fest enters its 20th anniversary this year and will be held from September 19 to 21 at Douglass Park in Chicago. It's known for its diverse lineup covering punk rock, alternative music, metal, and hip-hop genres. This year's lineup includes Green Day, Blink-182, Weezer, and many other renowned artists, as well as Sex Pistols, IDLES, Rilo Kiley, and over 90 bands in total. Besides musical performances, the venue offers carnival rides, arcade games, skateboard ramps, and entertainment options like the RiotLand chapel.

The Lost Lands Music Festival, held at Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio, is famous for its mind-blowing bass music and Jurassic theme. This three-day, three-night immersive dance experience among dinosaur ruins features heavy bass, flame jets, mechanical dragon stages, and creates a double impact on both visual and auditory senses. This year's festival takes place on October 18 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.

The Austin City Limits Music Festival will be held over two weekends, October 3-5 and 10-12, at ZILKER PARK in Austin, Texas.
