McDonald's will introduce a new limited-time sauce—Special Edition Gold Sauce—at the end of summer. This sauce is inspired by North Carolina-style BBQ sauce, combining honey, smoky, and mustard flavors, perfect for pairing with McDonald's chicken items.

The Gold Sauce can be paired with these chicken menu items:

• Gold Sauce Snack Wrap®: Crispy chicken strips + lettuce + cheese + Gold Sauce.
• Bacon Gold Sauce McCrispy® Sandwich: Fried chicken + bacon + pickles + Gold Sauce, served on a potato bun.
• Bacon Gold Sauce Deluxe McCrispy® Sandwich: Upgraded version with added lettuce and tomato.
• McCrispy™ Tenders: Gold Sauce can be ordered as a dip for these crispy golden tenders with black pepper flavor.
