: Stewing and steaming definitely result in different textures, but comparatively, a steamer is definitely more practical. Neither my partner nor I are particularly good at cooking, so one steamer is enough. If your household is somewhat interested in cooking, you could consider getting a stew pot, but if your situation is similar to ours, I wouldn't recommend it, as it might just end up gathering dust. 炖和蒸口感上肯定不一样，但是相比来说肯定是蒸锅更实用一些，我和队友都不咋擅长做饭所以一个蒸锅足够用，你家要是对做饭还算有兴趣可以入炖盅，如果和我们的情况差不多就不建议入了，不然吃灰的概率很大
