Editor's Pick: Butter straight out of the fridge is too hard to cut, but leaving it on the counter risks dust. This ceramic dish comes with a bamboo lid that has a silicone seal ring around the edge. When you press it down at an angle and slide it, the air inside gets pushed out and it seals snugly. The lid has a groove to rest a butter knife, and you can flip it over to use as a cutting board for butter. The ceramic body is thick and sturdy, and you can just toss it in the dishwasher. The bamboo lid just needs a hand wash and wipe dry.
