Editor's Pick: When kids first start riding a scooter, the biggest challenge is keeping their balance. This 3-wheel design is very stable once they stand on it, so they don't need an adult holding them up the whole time, and kids feel confident stepping on by themselves. Turning works by leaning your body weight, which feels more natural than turning the handlebars, so learning goes faster. The wheels have LED lights that glow as they ride, so when they're playing in the neighborhood at dusk, you can spot your child at a glance. The deck is widened with a non-slip surface, and the rear wheel has a foot brake, so stopping is as easy as a quick step.
