Editor's Pick: Kids love following grown-ups around the kitchen, and this pretend kitchen set is just the thing to let them get hands-on on their own. Place the food you've shaped from modeling compound onto the stovetop, and it really makes sizzling frying sounds and bubbling boiling sounds — the stovetop reacts very sensitively. The pasta machine can be removed, and with different attachments it presses out four pasta shapes, so kids will be absorbed in experimenting for quite a while. There's a built-in storage basket under the cutting board where accessories and compound cans can all be tucked away, so things don't end up spread all over the table.
