Editor's Pick: The yard steps or back door area is always pitch dark at night. With two of these motion sensor lights, you won't have to fumble for your phone to see. They automatically brighten to high when someone approaches, then turn off on their own after about ten seconds, and stay dimly lit as a night light when no one is around. Rainproof and freeze-proof, they can stay outside year-round with basically no maintenance. The solar panel charges for a few hours during the day and lasts all night, no wiring or battery changes needed. Coming back from walking the dog or taking out the trash at midnight, it feels much safer with light under your feet.
