Editor's Pick: When toddlers around age two first get their hands on a puzzle, their first instinct is to poke at it and chew on it. Each piece in this set features a different textured silicone surface—the snail shell is raised, and the turtle's back has a bumpy feel. Little hands exploring every texture is how they learn about the world. The five chunky wooden pieces are just the right size for small hands to grasp. When a piece doesn't fit, they turn it around and flip it over on their own, gradually figuring out how shapes and colors match up. It stores neatly in the box without taking up much space, and it's great for keeping little ones quietly entertained when you're out at a restaurant waiting for food.
