Tesla Autopilot Transfer Policy

Promotion Period:
- Starting April 24, 2025. Tesla reserves the right to modify or terminate this policy at any time. Cannot be applied retroactively to previously delivered vehicles. You can transfer your one-time purchased FSD eligibility from your old Tesla to a newly delivered Tesla.
- After transfer: New vehicle will have FSD (Supervised), while the old vehicle will no longer have FSD (generally retaining only TACC adaptive cruise control and/or Autosteer).
- If you want both vehicles to have FSD, you cannot participate in this promotion and will need to purchase FSD separately for your new vehicle.
Eligibility Requirements (all must be met):
- New vehicle must be delivered on or after April 24, 2025, and before the promotion ends.
- You must be the legal owner and registrant of the old vehicle, with FSD purchased outright on that vehicle, and maintained until Tesla removes FSD (typically completed within 48 hours after your new vehicle delivery).
- Both old and new vehicles must be under the same Tesla account.
- You must agree to Tesla's supplemental terms and conditions prior to new vehicle delivery.
Ineligible/Limited Situations:
- FSD cannot be transferred from a Model Y Launch Series.
- Cannot transfer FSD from a leased vehicle (but can transfer to a leased vehicle).
- Commercial vehicle orders, orders under business names, and used vehicle orders are not eligible.
- Vehicles undergoing buyback/cancellation processes or with outstanding loan/lien issues are not eligible.
- FSD included in Luxe Packages (such as Cyberbeast or 2026 model year S/X with Luxe Package) cannot be transferred.
