回复 @娜美0713 : It should be metal, so usually it can't go in the microwave. But now there's something called "microwave-safe gold" that can, though the color is a bit duller than regular gold detailing. I remember one of Lenox's silver-rimmed collections actually said it was microwave-safe—same principle. So it mainly depends on the markings on the bottom. Some hand-painted gold pieces can't even go in the dishwasher and need to be hand-washed! 应该是金属，所以一般不能进微波炉。但现在有一种微波金，可以进的，颜色比普通描金暗一些。我记得Lenox 某个系列的银边产品标明可以进微波炉，是同样的道理。所以主要还是看底部标识，有些手拍金还不能进洗碗机、只能手洗呢
: The pattern itself should not be affected much, but frequent dishwashing might affect the gold rim. The butterfly series doesn't have gold rims, so it's not entirely comparable. 图案本身应该影响不大，但金边常进洗碗机多少会有些影响。蝴蝶系列没有金边，不完全可比

: Their glaze is very good. I usually rinse the plates after they come out of the dishwasher before using them. Their plates dry quickly when placed upright on a rack. And they don't chip easily, compared to Mikasa. 他家釉面很好，洗碗机出来的盘子我有习惯冲一下再用，他家盘子立起来放架子上没一会就干了。而且不容易chip，相对mikasa。

回复 @娜美0713 : It's not thick or heavy, but the quality is great. I keep mine in a high-temperature sterilizer, and all the thicker, heavier ones have cracked, but the Lenox ones are still perfectly fine. 不厚不重，但是质量好。我家放高温消毒柜里，比它厚重的那些还裂了，Lenox 都是好好的，
回复 @娜美0713 : Bone china is known for being lightweight as one of its selling points. If you prefer something thicker, you could go for stoneware. The ones in Japanese shops are both beautiful and sturdy, and they won't discolor or get damaged even when steamed in a pot.
