OM SYSTEM (formerly Olympus) has officially launched two specialized M43 system cameras, each deeply customized for deep space photography and laboratory microscopy applications.

■ OM-3 ASTRO: Deep Space Nebula Hunter

This model features a 20MP BSI stacked sensor. Its core advantage is the built-in specially calibrated infrared cut filter that allows nearly 100% transmission of nebula-specific Hα (hydrogen-alpha) light, solving the problem of dim colors when photographing nebulae with traditional cameras.
