Editor's Pick: For a one-day weekend hike, or camping with a change of clothes and some snacks, the 40L capacity is just right. The bag itself is lightweight, and the straps and back panel have thick padding, so your shoulders won't feel too sore even when it's fully packed. There's a rain cover hidden at the bottom — mountain weather can change in an instant, and with one quick pull you can cover the whole bag without scrambling to stuff plastic bags inside.
