Mercedes-Benz has recently unveiled the new all-electric AMG GT 4-Door. Regardless of how the market perceives its powertrain transformation, its soaring price tag remains a reality. Based on European pricing converted to USD, even the base model’s cost calls for a re-evaluation of market positioning.

Product lineup has been overhauled: the base GT43 has been cancelled, making the GT55 the new entry point. On performance benchmarks, the new GT55 now offers 805 HP, matching the output of the previous top-tier GT63 S E Performance, while the new GT63 breaks through 1,100 HP.
To appease those who miss fuel power, the GT63 features a simulated AMG V8 powertrain. However, for purists, the true V8 engine roar remains hard to replicate.
