According to official BMW news, outgoing CEO Oliver Zipse confirmed during Thursday's (March 12) annual meeting that the fifth-generation X5, internally coded G65, will be officially unveiled this summer. As a core model in BMW's 2027 strategy, the new vehicle will offer an extremely rich selection of powertrain options.
