Following prototype testing in March 2026, the production version of the i3 confirms a cleaner front-end design with integrated grille and headlights, saying goodbye to the much-criticized "big nostrils" of the gas-powered M3. The body is available in Le Catellet Blue (Editor's note: original spelling likely meant to be Le Castellet Blue) metallic paint, featuring a muscular appearance.

The interior features a 17.9-inch Panoramic Vision display with Alexa+ AI voice assistant support. Material options include Agave Green faux leather, Black Veganza (eco-friendly synthetic leather), or premium Merino genuine leather. The steering wheel comes with "Shy Tech" invisible buttons that only activate when needed.

In addition to supporting Digital Key Plus phone unlocking, the vehicle also offers bidirectional charging. This means the i3's battery pack can reverse-power your home during emergencies like power outages, significantly enhancing its practicality.
